Environmental Leadership
CalPortland Company (CPC) has a long history of environmental leadership.
 For the last several years, CPC has been an industry leader on energy conservation and environmental quality. CPC is an active member of the Pew Center on Global Climate Change Business Environmental Leadership Council. This is a group of major companies that demonstrate worldwide leadership by establishing and meeting greenhouse gas emission reductions targets; investing in more effi cient products, practices and technologies; and supporting domestic and internal action to achieve cost-effective emissions reductions.

CPC has been recognized nationally for energy conservation, emissions reduction, recycling, and plant safety. The company is also a member of the EPA Climate Leaders, a voluntary GHG reduction program. Listed below is just a small selection of the numerous awards won:
